"William Dufris, the voice of TV's 'Bob the Builder' narrates Cynthia Rylant's amusing easy-reader mysteries featuring detectives Bunny Brown, a rabbit, and Jack Jones, a raccoon, who live in a high-rise apartment...A good choice for school and public libraries." –School Library Journal

Two detectives, Bunny and Raccoon, are on the case of a stolen trombone. William Dufris's expressive reading vocalizes the story's narrative and three characters with appropriate exaggeration. The proprietor of the music store, whom he supplies with a thick drawl, is especially pleasing. Bunny is obviously the brains of the duo while Raccoon's simplistic style endears him to readers. The sound effects will resonate with young listeners. An appealing story. A.G.H. (c) AudioFile 2003, Portland, Maine
