Legendary rock star Zack Hatter, lead singer of the equally legendary rock band Groovy Train, has gone missing. The living embodiment of 'sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll,' his disappearance isn't the first. But friends and family think this time it's different. They think he was abducted, in Mexico. Or, maybe he's dead.

Mary Cooper, a PI in Los Angeles is hired by Zack's business partner. While John Rockne, a PI from Grosse Pointe, Michigan is hired by Zack's ex-wife.

Soon, the pair are thrown together in a wild case that has them going up against drug dealers, Mexican cartel gang members...and each other.
